ROLE SNAPSHOT End User Computing (EUC) Engineer position responsible for the maintenance & management of the SOE, endpoint management tools, software deployments, application packaging, and Desktop applications. Mixture of projects, escalations, and BAU maintenance. Full time in office occasional travel for site visits. Responsibilities: Configure, administer, maintain, and support Intune Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM). Application packaging & software deployments Troubleshoot & resolve application deployment issues. SOE ownership. OS and application patching. PowerShell scripting for SOE and application deployments Identify and implement process improvements for software & SOE deployments Project involvement - including Win 10 - Win 11 migration, Win 11 fleet update via Intune (BIOS, patching, drivers) etc REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND PERSONAL QUALITIES Suitable for an EUC Specialist, with Intune and Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM) experience inside mid-large-sized environments. You'll need excellent communication and comprehension skills; a friendly and laidback personality with a sense of humility; and display logical problem solving & troubleshooting skills. Ideal for someone with a 'techy mind' who has proactively taken the initiative for self-study / upskilling. The following skills / knowledge / experience is required: Hands-on experience configuring, administering & maintaining Intune & Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM). Extensive background in Microsoft Desktop technologies (Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Group Policy, WSUS, Azure & Entra ID etc) Experience managing workstations and server management platforms, software & patching deployments, and OS image deployment/maintenance. Good experience in endpoint management of iOS and Android devices. PowerShell scripting skills are beneficial. Background inside Corporate or Managed Services environments supporting mid-large sized environments. Strong communication skills (both verbal and written). Friendly, laidback, and down-to-earth individual who can have a laugh! Comfortable with a full time in office role and occasional travel for site visits.
